01
Membership Eligibility & Admissions
Membership to Socius is strictly by invitation, vouch referral, or discretionary Admissions Board approval. Admission is non-transferable and tied to the individual member. Socius reserves the unilateral right to accept or decline any candidate application without public disclosure of review deliberation.
02
Context Isolation & Mode Separation
Members operate within three discrete modes: Professional (Founder & Idea Network), Social (Local & Cross-Border Gatherings), and Romantic (Private Matchmaking). Interactions in one context must remain strictly isolated from others. Unsolicited commercial solicitation outside of the Professional context constitutes grounds for immediate membership review.
03
Room Etiquette & Privacy Protection
All Socius rooms, secret bars, supper clubs, and member drop tables operate under strict Chatham House standards. Photography, screen captures, unsolicited recording, and unauthorized sharing of member identities or activity are strictly prohibited across all partner venues.
04
RSVP Staking & Split-Contribution Deposits
Certain high-demand private drops require a split-contribution deposit to guarantee venue seating and prevent no-shows. Upon arrival, the full deposit value converts to credit toward member food, beverage, or host venue billing. Failure to attend without timely cancellation forfeits the staked deposit.
05
Cross-Border Corridor Privileges
Members holding Global Nomad status are granted seamless access to signature drops and partner lounges across Delhi, Bombay, and Singapore hubs. Local Resident members may redeem up to 14 cross-border guest passes per calendar year. Local hub capacity limits and reservations apply.
06
Sponsor Liability & Social Collateral
Members who issue voucher codes vouch for the conduct and fit of their nominees. Egregious breaches of community standards by an invitee may reflect upon the voucher standing and future allocation quotas of the sponsoring member.
07
Revocation & Governing Law
The Admissions Board reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership at any time for violation of community standards. These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore and India respectively for regional operations.
